THE ORIGINAL DRAFT I STARTED WITH
THE CHALLENGE
This project involved ample communication and collaboration with the client. There was a great deal of information to manage, and I was very considerate of how people would actually read the sign.
I wanted to capture and hold attention, and avoid the viewer glossing over important information due to disorganization or bloat.
It was a valuable experience working closely with the team to ensure both their interests and solid design principles were met. I design a lot of signage for The Callaghan, and I really enjoy applying their brand.
CLIENT NAME: The Callaghan
CLIENT INFO: Located in the heart of BC's Coast Mountain Range, just 20 minutes south of Whistler lies The Callaghan Valley. Experience spectacular nature with cross-country skiing, hiking, snowshoeing and ski touring.
PRODUCT INFO: Winter Sign, 8x12ft, vinyl on Dibond.
PRODUCT GOAL: Greet visitors as they embark into the valley, communicating and emphasizing safety above all. Optimize the original draft provided and create a logical composition.
